ITFPA
- Institute of Television Films and the Performing
Arts is an accredited training provider and
production company with its office located at
Koteshwor, Kathmandu; working in the field of
documentary production and film education since
2002. Along with regular courses for professional
video filming ,client-specific training programs are
also offered.

ITFPA makes informational documentaries on a range
of subjects from environment and tourism to
education and economic development. It has produced
over 40 documentaries (link to documentary listing)
in collaboration with national and international
organizations as Unicef, UNESCO, WWF, Students'
Partnership Worldwide, Nepal Tourism Board, National
Trust for Nature Conservation, Amnesty
International, Kathmandu University, and many others
in the country.
Comments
It collaborates with college/university students
through camps/workshops (link) and training
programs, to use the medium of video filming as a
tool of information and exchange. Student projects
on documentaries have been used as a voluntary
information service for many international
organizations and NGOs in Nepal. In India, ITFPA
maintains a working association with Wide Angle
Produktions Panchkula (chandigarh) a film media
consultancy and production company which plans and
implements communication strategies for various
governmental/non-governmental projects, mostly in
the states of Punjab & Haryana. Currently it
continues to do documentaries, trainings, and
develop community television/ digital video filming
among students, youth and local communities in both
countries. ITFPA provides professional production
services right from concept & research to
production, post-production and delivery.
